Cookie Policy
Last updated: 1 October 2026
This policy explains how Visit Group International AB (“we”) uses cookies and similar technologies on visit.com, and what choices you have. For how we handle personal data in general, see our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. We also use similar technologies, such as pixels and local storage. In this policy, “cookies” covers all of them.
2. Your choice
Without asking you, we only use cookies that the site needs to work. Everything else is used only if you agree in our cookie banner, where Accept all, Reject all and Settings are equally easy to choose.
If you reject, no statistics or marketing cookies are set, and the scripts that would set them are blocked before they load. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time: Cookie settings. Withdrawing is as easy as agreeing.
We ask again after 12 months if you accepted everything, after 6 months otherwise, and whenever a change to this policy affects what you agreed to.
3. Categories
| Category | What it does | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Necessary (always on) | Keeps the site working: security, language and remembering your cookie choice. | No consent needed (ePrivacy Directive, Art. 5(3)); legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. |
| Functional | Remembers optional settings. We do not use any cookies in this category at the moment. | Consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. |
| Statistics | Shows us how visitors use the site so we can improve it. | Consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. |
| Marketing | Measures our ads and shows relevant ads on other sites and services. | Consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. |

5. Record of your choice
When you make a choice, we store a record of it so that we can show what you agreed to: a random consent ID, the time, the site, the language, your choice, and the version of this policy and of the banner you saw. The record contains no IP address, no name and no full browser identifier, only whether you used a computer, phone or tablet. We delete it after 13 months. You can see your consent ID under Cookie settings.
6. Google Consent Mode
We load Google services through Google Tag Manager. Until you choose, Google Consent Mode is set to “denied” for statistics and advertising. Google services then do not read or write cookies and only receive signals without cookies. Your choice in the banner updates this setting.
7. Transfers outside the EU/EEA
Some providers in the list are based in, or transfer data to, the United States (Google, Microsoft, Meta, LinkedIn, HubSpot, OpenAI, Cloudflare). These transfers rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified under it, and otherwise on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses with supplementary measures. You can ask us for a copy of the safeguards.
8. Blocking cookies in your browser
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block necessary cookies, parts of the site may stop working. Instructions: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge.
9. Your rights
Where cookies involve personal data, you have the right to access, correct and erase it, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. You can withdraw your consent at any time; this does not affect processing that took place before. You can also complain to a data protection authority, for example the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), imy.se, or the authority in the country where you live.
